Been out today to my syndicate water, had one of those red letter days with the pike. 8)

Every method was working, they were taking every bait i chucked at them, on more than one ocassion i was into a couple of fish at a time - just having to set the hooks on the second rod then open the bale arm while i sorted out the other rod.

In the end i was just using a single rod for safety.

I have no idea how many pike i landed but i'm guessing 25-30 8O . Lost quite a few in the margins as i was chinning them all out. My net would have been in tatters otherwise.

Best fish was 21lb 3oz, then 18lb 13oz, 17lb 2oz, and then 4 or 5 fish in the 10-15 lb bracket that i did not wiegh.

did not get a pic of the 20, had not got the camera set up, but here is a couple of the others. Apology for the gormless look and crap self takes.

erm....

Leave it with me, very doubtful as she's having a kitchen fitted and i'm told i'm painting it on completion, i'll work my irresistable charm, and probably fail miserably

I did, luckily i took a pint of maggots with me and the roach were willing. :D

I'm sure they were not fussed about the bait, they took dead and live roach, Smelt, Lamprey, Mackerel, Herring, Eeel section - pretty much everything i threw in.
